On Friday, September 27, 2024, we released three new resources from Reporting on Addiction – a toolkit for journalists on trauma-informed and empathy-based approaches to reporting, a toolkit for experts on pitching and writing op-eds, and a guide on digital security for protecting journalists and sources online.

After the launch of our resources, we were joined in conversation with The Maine Monitor’s Emily Bader and trauma trainer Latisha Goullaud as they discuss how they use trauma-informed and empathy-based approaches in their work.
